(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Coral-Lee, Mike Roberts Color Productions chrome postcard from 1983. It shows a view of the ruins of the U. S. Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon after the "Suicide Terrorist" bombing on April 18, 1983.

"On April 18, 1983, the U.S. Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon was shattered by a powerful bomb, killing at least 61 persons, including 17 Americans, and wounding some 95 others in the worst attack ever against an American target in Lebanon. It is speculated that a "Suicide Terrorist" in a pick-up truck bearing false diplomatic plates and laden with explosives stormed the embassy causing the salmon-pink building to collapse like an accordion. President Reagan reaffirmed that collapse like an accordion. President Reagan reaffirmed that "this criminal attack . . . will not deter the U.S. from doing what we know to be right" in the search for peace in the Middle East.", reads the description printed on the back.

The postcard is unused and is in VERY GOOD condition, light wear at the edges.
