(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original vintage S. K. Colored Post Cards, Skinner & Kennedy Co. linen postcard from the 1940s. It shows a view of the Carrico Courts motel off Route 66 at 6400 East Central, Albuquerque, New Mexico, "In The Shadow of the Sandias".
"CARRICO COURTS - On U.S. Highway 66, 6400 E. Central - Strictly Modern Apts., Heated, Insulated, Private Showers and Tubs - Electric Refrigeration. Gas Ranges and Inner-Spring Mattresses. Complete Phillips 66 Service Station in Connection. P. O. Box 931 - Albuquerque, N.M. - R. C. Carrico, Owner and Manager, Phone 2446-W."
The postcard is used and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, postmark ink transfer on the front.
