Cathedral of St. John the Divine - New York, NY - Postcard, c. 1910s
(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original antique postcard from the 1910s. It show a view of he Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City.
"CATHEDRAL OF ST. JOHN'S DIVINE is located between 110th and 113th streets overlooking Morningside Park, was begun in 1892, choir and two of seven chapels built by Heins & La Farge and consecrated April 19th, 1911. Cost $3,500,000, several millions more will be required for completion. Central spire is 445 feet high. The Western Towers are 245 feet high."
The postcard is unused and is in VERY GOOD condition, light wear at the edges, blunted corner tips.
