(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Western Publishing & Novelty Co., C. T. Art-Colortone postcard from the 1940s. It shows a view of Columbia Square "Home of KNX Columbia Broadcasting System" in Hollywood, California. 

"A magnificent new structure, the Pacific Coast Home of the Columbia Broadcasting System, now stands on the spot where the motion picture industry first took root in Hollywood in October of 1911, -- now, Columbia Square. Located on Sunset Boulevard, one of the principal traffic ribbons threading its way through the entertainment capital pf the world-- a five story office building, eight studios, including the Playhouse and adjoining offices for the Columbia Management of California. Inspection Tours for the public are conducted daily giving every opportunity to observe modern radio production under ideal conditions."

"You should have come along! It's a great place even if it does rain everyday. Be a good girl and I'll see you some day - Stan", reads the note written on the back. 

The postcard is used and is in GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, postmark ink transfer on front.
