"DRIFT LOGS IN SECOND FOREST, PETRIFIED FOREST, ARIZONA. - A prime mystery of geology-- thousands of acres of agatized logs that lie prone on the ground in a vast basin once the bed of an ancient sea. The cross sections of these logs reveal brilliant colors-- every tint of the rainbow.", reads the description printed on the back.
