(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Koppel Color Cards, Florida Natural Color, Inc. chrome postcard from the 1960s. It shows a woman pretending to ride the back of a dead turtle.
"Turtle Crawls, Key West, Florida. It isn't easy to ride a Giant Turtle, as this picture shows. These turtles are being taken from the Turtle Crawls and will soon be served as a delicacy in the form of Green Turtle Steaks or Green Turtle Soup at most of the Florida Key Restaurants.", reads the description printed on the back.
The postcards is used and is in GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, postmark ink transfer on the front.
