(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original vintage M. E. Russell, C. T. Art-Colortone linen postcard from the 1940s. It shows a view of the Inner Court of the Ringling Art Museum in Sarasota, Florida.
"Both nature and man have combined forces to make the Ringling Museum of Art one of the nation's most beautiful spots. In the long galleries that border this lovely court, outstanding works of some of the world's most famous artists are displayed. The 76 life size statues surmounting the building represent characters from ancient history and mythology. An atmosphere of old Europe prevails throughout the entire visit to the John and Mabel Ringling Museum of Art.", reads the description printed on the back.
