Musical Chimes - Bluff Dweller's Cave - Noel, MO - Postcard, c. 1930s

(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original vintage C. T. Art-Colortone linen postcard from the 1930s. It shows a view of the "Musical Chimes" rock formation inside Bluff Dweller's Cave, 1 mile south of Noel, Missouri on U.S. 71.

"Hello Folks: Well here we are 1 mile from Arkansas. Found a lovely cabin just across from this cave. So we went over + went through it, closed at 8:o:clock so have just eaten our dinner-- The cabin is so nice + clean, a stove and dishes,- since running water- a swimming place in the Elk River. The boys are going to take a swim in the morning. We made good time. Think we are still more than 200 miles from home. Just bought a full tank of gas, signs say 6 cents slate type om Arkansas. Lee is in bed so I must to do the same so we can get an early start. P.S. on the road again, lovely morning, wild flowers delightful.", reads the message written on the back. 

The postcard is used and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips.
