Natural Bridge By Moonlight - Postcard, c. 1940s
(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Marken & Bielfeld Inc. postcard from the 1930s. It shows a view of Virginia's "Natural Bridge" rock formation by moonlight.
"NATURAL BRIDGE OF VIRGINIA - "Higher than Niagara -- Old as the Dawn" 215 feet high, 90 foot span, 100 feet broad. To see the Natural Bridge at night with its magnificent lighting effects . . . its towering cliffs vibrant with interpretive music . . . is to walk through a dream into the dawning of life . . . a surge of emotion . . . awesome . . . majestic.", reads the description printed on the back.
The postcard is unused and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips.
