Pikes Peak from Monument Valley - Colorado Springs, CO - Postcard, c. 1940s

(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Sanborn Souvenir Co. postcard from the 1940s. It shows a view of Pikes Peak from Monument Valley Park in Colorado Springs, CO.

"Monument Valley Park is a unique strip of Park abounding in typical western shrubbery which follows the course of Monument Creek for over 2 miles, seldom being more than two or three blocks width. There are no drives but graveled walks make a delightful strolling place. Two or three pretty lakes are tucked away in its hollows and thru its foliage may be seen many fine views of Pikes Peak and the mountains.", reads the description printed on the back.

The postcard is unused and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips.
