Pretty Little Spot - FLC Signed - Postcard, c. 1911
(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original antique Embossed Comic Series, No. 5475 Copyrighted 1911 by F. J. Haffner. It shows an Edwardian mother in a soiled dress, "This is a pretty little spot?" Signed by artist Frederick L. Cavally.
"Dear Sis. Feb. 19th - Rec'd your letter yesterday and will answer the latter part of the week. I am going visiting again today. I'm a regular gad. Mrs. Baxter is coming up here the day of Sams Sale. (26th) better try and be down then or else come for Al. Birthday (March 5th) Hope you are well. I have a headache most of the time. By By - P. A. B.", reads the note penciled on the back.
The postcard is used and is in GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, a few small creases and stains.
