(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is a SET of TWO original antique Edward H. Mitchell postcards from the 1900s. The each show a view of the Santa Barbara Mission in California, two monks praying in the "Cemetery Garden" and one monk watering a plant from the "Fountain".

"Dear Friend- Your nice cards arrived rec'd O.K. Thanks very much, pleased I have some of Orient. Will return 5 cards for same + trust you will like them. With best wishes- Yours as ever- Mrs. J. H. Grursteen - Nov. 18th, 1907.", reads the message written on the back of one card.

One card is Used the other is not, both cards are in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges,blunted corner tips, album marks at corners, a few minor creases and stains.
