(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Tichnor Bros. Inc. linen postcard from the 1930s. It shows a view of the Scottish Rite Cathedral in Indianapolis, Indiana.
"This magnificent Gothic cathedral erected by the Indianapolis bodies of the Scottish Rite occupies half of an entire city block at North and Meridian Streets. It is highly ornamented with emblematic designs cut in stone and beautified with symbolical stained glass windows. Its majestic tower rises 212 feet and houses a carillon or Singing Bells - one of the greatest in the world.", reads the description printed on the back.
The postcard is unused and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips.
