(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Tichnor Quality Views, Morris Brothers Company linen postcard from the 1940s. It shows a moonlight view of the Soldiers and Sailors Monument in Indianapolis, Indiana.
"Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument is located on Monument Circle. It was designed by Bruno Schmidt, construction was begun in 1887 and it was completed in 1901. Bronze statues of representative men of the times commemorate four epochs in the history of Indiana. It is 284 1/2 feet high.", reads the description printed on the back.
The postcard is unused and is in VERY GOOD condition, light wear the edges.
