(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original antique Illustrated Postal Card & Nov. Co. postcard from the 1910s. It shows a troop of World War One soldiers in formation for a "Squad Drill".

"March 3, 1918 - Will write later in week as I am very tired tonight. Just came off guard duty at 4 P.M. Sunday. We are enjoying Spring weather here. How is Erwin + ask yourself + John. Ans. feel some better as I do not have to drill as much as at Camp Meade. Erwin. Postmarked Chattanooga, Tenn. - March 4, 1918. Military Branch", reads the message on the back. 

The postcard is used and is in GOOD condition, heavy wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, heavy postmark ink transfer on the front.
