(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original vintage The Bisbee Press, C. T. Art-Colortone postcard from the 1940s. It shows a view of "THE FAMOUS INDIAN HEAD, FRANCONIA NOTCH, NEW HAMPSHIRE - This natural Indian Profile in stone high up on Pemigewasset Mountain is 98 feet from top of forehead to chin. It is 1260 feet above and plainly visible from the main highway U. S. Route 3".
"Hello Olive, Marion and Leslie, We're having a good rest up here again. Hope you gals had a nice vacation- be seeing you - Love Carl + Leah", reads the note written on the back.
The postcard is used and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips.
