The Shepherdess - William Adolphe Bouguereau - Postcard, c. 1950s
(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Yang Color Photography chrome postcard from the 1950s. "CHARLES AND EMMA FRYE ART MUSEUM - Terry at Cherry, Seattle, Washington - "THE SHEPHERDESS" (oil) was painted in 1881 by William Adolphe Bouguereau (French: 1825-1905). Bouguereau was greatly influential in European art circles. The Frye Collection of 230 European and American paintings includes "The Sisters", painted by Bouguereau in 1905."
The postcard is unused and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips.
