(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original vintage C. P. Johnston Co. linen postcard from the 1940s. It shows a view of the totem lined entrance of Sitka National Park in Sitka, Alaska.
"Fairbanks, Alaska - Spent Sat. + Sin. in the Eskimo Villages- They are interesting - drying fish, cutting up the whale, Fishing, etc. South east of Siberia and in the Arctic Ocean saw the ice packs breaking up - Regards to Erda. Lillian.", reads the note written on the back.
The postcard is used and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips.
