(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original antique B. S. Reynolds Co. postcard from the 1920s. It shows a view of George Washington's Tomb in Mt. Vernon, Virginia.

"THE TOMB OF WASHINGTON AT MT. VERNON, VA. - is a plain brick structure over grown with ivy. On a slab over its arched gateway is inscribed: "Within this inclosure rest the remains of General George Washington". It is a spot sacred to all Americans; a shrine visited annually by the thousands. Its preservation is due to the Mt. Vernon Ladies' Association, who, by patriotic courage, acquired the estate by purchase in 1860.", reads the description printed on the back.

The postcard is unused and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips.
