(2 3/8 x 4 1/4 In) This is an original antique carte de visite photograph from the 1800s. It shows a striking portrait of a young Victorian girl with short cropped hair posing next to an empty chair in a striped dress, decorative urns on either side of the elaborate studio setting. The portrait was taken by R. Newells Photograph Gallery at 724 Arch St., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 

The photo is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, trimmed corner tips.
