(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Arco Agency, C. T. Art-Colortone linen postcard from the 1940s. It shows a Bird's Eye View of the Ohio River and Wheeling, West Virginia.

"Ebenezer Lane made the first white settlement now occupied by the city of Wheeling in 1769. Indian warfare was on foe several years until the Revolutionary War, progress then started. In 1832 the first iron works were built. The B. & O. Railroad reached the city in 1852.", reads the description printed on the back. 

The postcard is unused and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips.
